Career Pathway Specialist - Help young people discover what they’re capable of

Southport, Gold Coast | Full-time or Part-time (minimum 3 days per week)

$75,000–$90,000 + Super (depending on experience)

We believe employment changes lives. Not simply because someone gets a job.

But because meaningful employment builds confidence, independence, purpose and opportunity.

At Prestige Employment Solutions (PES), we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover what they’re capable of.

We don’t simply help young people find work. We build careers, not just jobs.

If you believe employment is about more than placements, and you enjoy helping people discover their strengths, overcome barriers and build meaningful futures, we’d love to hear from you.

About PES

Prestige Employment Solutions is a growing boutique employment services organisation dedicated to helping young people build meaningful and sustainable careers.

Through personalised coaching, career planning and robust employer partnerships, we help young people build confidence, independence and long-term employment outcomes.

At PES, relationships matter. We coach people, not simply manage cases, and we’re committed to continually learning, growing and improving together.

About the Role

As a Career Pathway Specialist, you’ll manage a focused caseload of young people and help them build momentum towards meaningful employment through career planning, practical coaching and employer engagement.

This is more than a traditional case management role. You’ll coach participants to identify their strengths, overcome barriers and take practical steps towards their career goals, while proactively connecting with local employers and sourcing suitable employment opportunities.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing and Career Services teams to connect participant potential with the right opportunities and build relationships with employers to understand what success looks like in their workplace.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and professional judgement within a growing boutique organisation.

How You’ll Help Build Careers:

- Build trusted relationships and understand each participant’s strengths, goals and aspirations.

- Develop practical career pathway plans with clear, achievable next steps.

- Coach participants to build confidence, employability skills and workplace readiness.

- Prepare participants for interviews, work trials and workplace expectations.

- Identify barriers early and turn them into practical actions.

- Work with employers to understand workplace expectations and use their feedback to strengthen participant preparation.

- Partner with our Marketing and Career Services teams to connect participant potential with genuine employment opportunities.

- Maintain purposeful momentum across your caseload while meeting program and documentation requirements.

Who Thrives at PES?

The people who succeed here aren’t necessarily those with the longest resumes.

They’re people who

- Believe in the potential of every young person.

- Build genuine relationships.

- Coach, encourage and empower others.

- Balance empathy with accountability.

- Take ownership and communicate honestly.

- Exercise sound professional judgement.

- Stay curious and keep learning.

- Look for better ways to help people progress.

Your Experience

We welcome applicants from a range of professional backgrounds where you’ve helped people progress towards employment, independence or vocational goals.

Your experience might come from:

- Workplace or Occupational Rehabilitation

- Return to Work or Injury Management

- Rehabilitation Counselling

- Disability Employment Services

- Employment or Career Development

- Youth or Community Services

- Vocational Case Coordination

Caseload experience can be valuable, but we’re interested in more than your ability to manage appointments.

We’re looking for someone who can coach people forward, exercise sound judgement, coordinate stakeholders and turn barriers into practical next steps.

Relevant qualifications are valued but not essential. Your experience, judgement, character and ability to help people progress matter just as much.

You’ll also need:

- Full Australian working rights

- A current full Australian driver's licence and willingness to undertake a driver's licence history check
- A National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- A Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain one

Why Join PES?

We’re a growing boutique organisation where people know each other, ideas are welcomed and learning never stops.

You’ll enjoy

- Meaningful work with genuine purpose, helping young people build brighter futures.

- Help young people build confidence, independence and meaningful careers.

- Join an organisation where your ideas genuinely matter and influence how we continue to improve our services.

- Keep learning and growing, receive ongoing coaching, mentoring and opportunities to build your capability and career as PES grows.

- Report directly to the CEO and work closely with leadership in an environment where your ideas, professional judgement and development are genuinely valued.

- Long-term opportunity, this role is supported by our Inclusive Employment Australia contract, with program funding currently secured through to 2030.

- A connected workplace where working onsite strengthens collaboration, mentoring and outcomes for the young people we support.

- Tools to do your job, you’ll be provided with a laptop, phone and access to pool car for work related travel

Our Promise to Each Other

At PES, we don’t expect perfection.

We value honesty, ownership, the confidence to ask for help and a commitment to keep learning.

Because building a better PES is something we all contribute to.

Join Our Journey

If you’re looking for a role where relationships matter more than transactions, progress matters more than activity, and you’ll have the opportunity to genuinely influence a young person’s future, we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit

Your current resume; and

- A brief statement (approximately 250–400 words) answering:

- What attracted you to this opportunity, and what experiences or qualities would you bring to helping young people build meaningful career pathways?

We’d love to learn a little more about you than what’s written on your resume.
