We are currently searching for an experienced project surveyor for a rare opportunity working on the builder side on a flagship project in Adelaide, a large-scale commercial project. The project is set to run for over two years, with many other projects to move into afterwards.

You will work with a Licensed Surveyor who will be responsible for setting up all the initial survey controls. The project surveyor will be responsible for the precise set-out, measurement, and spatial verification of all construction activities for the facility. Thisrole ensures that all structural elements, automation infrastructure, and civil works are positioned in strict accordance with the Principal Project Requirements.

You will also be able to specify the equipment you want for the job, and the client will purchase everything brand new for you.



About the Project Surveyor Role

- Maintain an effective and safe work environment
- Ensure survey equipment is calibrated and well-maintained
- Technical set-out and surveying, including:
- Performing the initial site set-out and establishing primary control points to guide construction.
- Provide precise set-out for critical automation infrastructure, including transfer beams for clear span areas and AGV charging zones.
- Conduct surveys for temporary construction works such as road detours and traffic control plans.
- Maintain and store all survey data on the company’s centralised storage system.
- Drafting – must be able to complete your own field and office computations
- Monthly progress reporting
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in construction surveying
- Experience working in high precision measurement.
- Familiarity with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015quality management systems.
- Tertiary education or degree in surveying or related field
- Confident and articulate verbal and written skills
- Highly proficient in fieldwork and data processing
