We’re looking for a passionate, driven and committed Chef to join our team and be part of the next chapter at tHotel Jesmond.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone looking for consistent hours, a supportive team environment and the potential to progress into a full-time role.

The Role

Working alongside our Head Chef, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the day-to-day kitchen operations

- Setting up your section and maintaining prep

- Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard

- Working efficiently through busy services

- Multitasking and prioritising tasks

- Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards

- Stock rotation and checking food quality

- General kitchen preparation and cleaning

- Working independently while contributing positively to the team

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 1 year’s experience working as a Cook or Chef





- Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen

- Ability to work confidently alongside a Head Chef

- Strong cooking, organisation and time-management skills

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Valuable communication skills

- Reliable and well organised

- Availability to work nights and weekends is essential
