The Oil Man NSW is a growing Australian-owned business specialising in the delivery of fresh cooking oil, collection of used cooking oil, and deep fryer servicing solutions for restaurants, clubs, cafés, hotels and commercial kitchens throughout New South Wales.

As we continue to expand across the Hunter Region and Newcastle area, we are seeking a reliable and motivated MR Driver / Service Technician to join our team based in Cardiff NSW.

This is a casual position initially, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role for the right person.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that combines driving, customer service and equipment servicing. Based in Cardiff, you will be responsible for delivering fresh cooking oil, collecting used cooking oil, cleaning commercial fryers, and providing exceptional customer service to customers throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley and surrounding regions across NSW.

You will work independently throughout the day while being supported by a professional, friendly and growing operations team.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving & Deliveries

- Safely operate company MR service vehicles throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas
- Deliver fresh cooking oil and collect used cooking oil safely and efficiently
- Load and unload oil containers, drums and equipment using safe manual handling practices
- Complete daily run sheets, delivery documentation and electronic records
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks, reporting any defects promptly

Service & Maintenance

- Perform commercial deep fryer cleaning services in accordance with company standards
- Assist with servicing customer oil systems and related equipment
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, presentation and cleanliness

Customer Service

- Build positive relationships with customers
- Communicate professionally regarding service schedules, site access requirements and delivery updates




- Represent The Oil Man NSW with professionalism and pride

Safety & Compliance

- Follow all WHS policies, procedures and reasonable management directions
- Adhere to safe manual handling practices and use of PPE
- Comply with environmental, spill prevention and spill response procedures
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and ongoing training

About You

Essential

✓ Current NSW Medium Rigid (MR) Licence

✓ Safe driving history and commitment to workplace safety

✓ Reliable, punctual and self-motivated

✓ Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties

✓ Strong customer service and communication skills

✓ Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads

Desirable

- Experience in delivery driving, transport, logistics or field service roles
- Experience within hospitality, cooking oil delivery or waste oil collection industries
- Forklift Licence
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience using handheld devices or electronic delivery systems
