As a Senior Accountant, you will deliver high‑quality accounting, taxation and advisory services across a diverse client base. You will play a key role in reviewing work, supporting junior team members and assisting Managers and Directors on more complex business services matters, while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

Client service & advisory

Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT and other compliance obligations

Assist with business advisory services including structuring, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and succession planning

Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide clear, practical accounting and tax advice

Build solid, trusted client relationships and deliver a high standard of client service

Technical & compliance

Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, ATO requirements and relevant taxation legislation

Conduct technical research and assist with complex tax and accounting matters

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of taxation law,



accounting standards and industry developments

Identify risk areas and ensure work is completed accurately and to a high professional standard

Team support & practice contribution

Supervise, review and provide feedback on work completed by intermediate and junior accountants

Support training, mentoring and professional development of team members

Assist Managers and Directors with workflow management, client engagements and special projects

Contribute to process improvements, quality assurance standards and practice growth initiatives

About you

You will have:

CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)

Significant experience in public practice accounting

Strong technical knowledge of tax, accounting and compliance

Proven experience preparing and reviewing complex financial statements and tax returns

Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients

Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities

A proactive, collaborative and solutions‑focused approach

High attention to detail and commitment to quality
