Who is STAR Community Services?

STAR Community Services is an award-winning not-for-profit supporting elderly and people with disabilities since 1996. We provide affordable, reliable aged care and disability services—including Support at Home, NDIS, transport, social activities, and companionship to help clients live independently and stay connected.



With help from dedicated staff and local volunteers, we serve Redlands, Ipswich, Logan, Gold Coast, and Toowoomba.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide strategic financial leadership across the organisation while overseeing all aspects of financial management,governanceand performance.

A key priority of the role is to strengthen and mature the internal finance function, including transitioning services currently delivered through external providers into a contemporary, high-performing in-house team. You’ll lead improvements to systems, reporting, financialcontrolsand business processes that support informed decision-making and long-term sustainability.
