Cleaner – Casual (Evenings)

Gordonvale Family Medical Centre is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a casual evening basis. This role is essential to maintaining a protected, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our patients, clinicians, and staff.

As reliability is vital in this position, we are open to a dynamic duo arrangement, where two cleaners can share duties and provide cover for each other during leave.

Key Duties

- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and common areas thoroughly each evening.

- Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning products.

- Perform general cleaning across shared spaces, including toilet facilities, hallways, foyers, internal windows, doors, walls, and staff offices.

- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Facilities Manager promptly.

- Assist the Facilities Manager as required.





- Clean and sanitise clinical and non-clinical areas, including waiting rooms, consulting rooms, and staff spaces.

- Empty bins and manage waste in accordance with health, safety, and infection control guidelines.

About the Candidate

- Demonstrated cleaning experience, with healthcare or aged-care experience highly regarded.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.

- Knowledge of infection control procedures is an advantage.

- An interest in environmentally responsible cleaning practices.

- Form part of our casual pool of cleaners

- Available 3 evenings per week from 4pm - approximately 6:30pm neg.

- An interest in a local house clean locally is highly regarded
