The Clinical Nurse

Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence-based practice. The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes.

The CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty. Are You the Right Fit? Proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical practice standards, policies, and initiatives that support safety, quality, and best practice. Displays a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and research, using data and emerging evidence to drive positive change within healthcare services. Possesses strong communication, leadership and fosters a culture of excellence.
