Little Life Warriors is an award-winning, growing private practice based in Bundaberg. We provide neuroaffirming, trauma-informed play therapy and early intervention services that place relationships at the centre of everything we do.

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Play Therapist / Early Intervention Practitioner to join our growing team.
This opportunity is available as either:
- Part-time employment (3 to 4 days per week), or
- A subcontractor arrangement for the right practitioner.
We welcome experienced clinicians as well as passionate professionals looking to develop their therapeutic skills within a supportive environment.
Salary or contractor rates will be negotiated based on qualifications, experience, registration and the nature of the engagement.
You will work across:
- Child-Centred Play Therapy
- Early Intervention
- Therapeutic group programs
- Parent consultations
- Kindergarten and school outreach
- Community education and career development
No two days are the same.
One morning you may be facilitating a therapeutic play session.
That afternoon you could be supporting educators, coaching parents, delivering an early intervention program, or presenting professional development to educators.

- Support to develop the competencies required for professional registration
- A structured pathway to becoming a confident and skilled therapeutic practitioner

You are someone who:
- Loves working with children and families
- Values neuroaffirming and trauma-informed practice
- Builds genuine relationships
- Is warm, compassionate and relationship-focused
- Enjoys learning and ongoing professional development
- Is reflective and open to feedback
- Can facilitate groups or is excited to develop those skills
- Wants to grow alongside a supportive and expanding practice
- Is adaptable and enjoys the variety that comes with working across clinic,
community and early childhood settings
Essential Requirements
We welcome applications from:
- Registered Early Childhood Teachers
- Play Therapists
- Developmental Educators
- Social Workers
- Psychologists
- Counsellors
- Occupational Therapists
- Speech Pathologists
- Other allied health professionals with relevant experience supporting children and families
Applicants must hold:
- Relevant qualifications and professional registration (where applicable)
- Current Blue Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
