Torque Enterprises is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Hose Shop Trade Assistant to join our Hydraulic Hose Division. This is a hands‑on role ideally suited to someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality, safety and teamwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manufacturing, assembling and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic hose assemblies
- Measuring and selecting correct hose types, fittings and components
- Operating hose crimping, cutting, testing and tagging equipment
- Picking fittings and preparing customer orders
- Assisting with hose installation, removal and replacement both in the workshop and on customer sites
- Conducting pressure testing and inspections where required




- Maintaining hose identification tagging and traceability record
- Reading and interpreting hose assembly drawings and specifications
- Assisting with stock control, receipting and dispatch
- Delivering hoses, materials and components to customers and site locations
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Completing service sheets, timesheets and testing documentation accurately
- Following company quality systems, procedures and WHS requirements

- Manual Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
