Gastroenterology Specialist - Tertiary Hospital

Position
Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and highly regarded health service on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of gastroenterology services within a energetic, multidisciplinary environment.

Applicants must hold specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Gastroenterology, or be a General Physician with significant experience and a strong interest in gastroenterology (or equivalent).

Hospital
The health service operates across two key sites;
A 600-bed tertiary teaching hospital, which also functions as a major trauma centre for the ACT and Southern NSW. A secondary facility with over 250 beds, delivering acute and sub-acute services across the region.

The service has strong academic affiliations with several universities,



and the successful candidate may be eligible for a conjoint appointment with the Australian National University.

The broader service also provides integrated diabetes care across the full continuum—from general management and inpatient care to pregnancy-related diabetes and both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes support.
