CMI is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the electrical cable industry, particularly in developing relationships with major commercial and industrial electrical contractors and driving project opportunities from specification through to supply.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing current business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, supporting major electrical contractors with their electrical cable requirements, and driving sustainable sales growth across your assigned territory.

About the role:
- Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in pursuing major projects, developing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting CMI's extensive range of electrical cable products and solutions.
- Managing sales activities across Victoria by developing and executing strategic territory plans, structured customer call cycles, and maintaining an accurate customer database to maximise market coverage, customer engagement, and sales opportunities.
