Skills As a Community Registered Nurse, you’ll provide person-centred care in people’s homes, working with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to support safe and independent living. You’ll enjoy variety in your day and opportunities to broaden your clinical skills across: Wound and continence care

Medication management, including IV therapy

PEG tube and intercostal drain management

Diabetes education

Palliative care in partnership with the Mater Hospital Palliative Care Team With expert clinical support, comprehensive orientation, mentoring and professional development, you’ll be supported to grow your confidence and skills in community nursing.

Experienced

Community RNs and nurses with at least 12 months’ experience are warmly encouraged to apply.

To Succeed In This

Role, You’ll Bring Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a current NSW Driver Licence.

Experience in medical, surgical, rehabilitation, aged care or community nursing.

Strong clinical, communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Experience in wound care, medication administration, continence or palliative care, or a willingness to learn.

A commitment to NSW Health CORE Values and ongoing professional development.
