The Service The Frontline Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV)
Initiative delivers trauma-informed support to adult and child victim-survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence across regional, rural and remote communities. The service prioritises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities. The program provides timely, client-centred responses to people experiencing or at risk of FDSV, including risk assessment, safety planning and holistic support.
Staff work alongside individuals and families to promote safety, healing and social wellbeing, offering counselling, education, advocacy and referral pathways. The service also connects clients to crisis, refuge and specialist supports where required and facilitates referrals to perpetrator intervention services to support positive behaviour change.
