The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Compliance and Training Coordinator to provide a critical role at Beechworth Correctional Centre.

The Beechworth Correctional Centre (BCC) is a minimum-security facility with a focus on preparing individuals for release and successful reintegration back into society.



It offers various working industries with the men given the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills that will effectively link them to employment on release. When not engaged in work, the men attend rehabilitative programs to address their offending behaviour, engage in education and visits whilst many also engage in recreation and community assistance programs.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Compliance and Training Coordinator will have responsibility for providing a range of training and operational coordination activities to BCC staff, as well as oversight, collation and reporting of procedural compliance.

The Compliance and Training Coordinator will work with the Workforce Development Supervisor (WDS) to identify learning opportunities that meet individual and organisational needs as part of the staff member's Performance Plan and will assist the WDS in ensuring that Performance Plans are complet
