This role is suited to someone who lives and breathes content creation, who's confident filming and editing on their phone, and who has a strong visual eye for what feels natural, polished and on-brand. This could suit an experienced marketer/creator or an intern looking for hands-on paid experience. If creating great content isn't just something you do but something you genuinely enjoy, we'd love to hear from you.

We're after a content creator/social media manager to work alongside the founder, shooting, editing and coming up with content for Instagram and TikTok across a variety of clients and models. We're a social media agency working with fashion, beauty, wellness, service-based and B2B businesses.. It's a great junior role if you're keen to grow with us, and there's room for it to grow as we do. Experience is preferred but not a requirement.

What you'll be doing

- Creating content ideas for Instagram and TikTok
- Filming content on your phone, on location with clients and/or models
- Editing short-form video in CapCut
- Putting together aesthetic feeds and graphics for Instagram on Canva
- Writing captions and social copy that stop the scroll and actually gets people engaging
- Keeping an eye on trends and bringing fresh ideas to the table
- Helping with content scheduling and posting
- Keeping content assets and footage organised
- Community engagement

Who you are

- You're naturally creative and always full of ideas
- You've got a good eye for detail and know what makes content actually good
- You're confident filming content using your phone
- You have a strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram
- You know what's trending and what actually stops the scroll
- You have experience using Canva and CapCut
- You have excellent written communication skills
- You're warm, easy to talk to, and comfortable giving direction on a shoot
- You bring good energy and like to have a good time, especially when working with models on shoot days
- You're organised, reliable and proactive,

- You're based on the Gold Coast, with your own car and can drive to shoots

- Examples of your editing style
- Graphics you've designed in Canva
- Past client work (if applicable)
- Your personal accounts, if relevant (e.g. a UGC account)
- If you don't have any of the above yet, mock content works too, pick a brand you like and show us what you'd create for them, so we can see how you'd approach it

Details

- Location: Gold Coast, some shoots may be in South Brisbane
- Type: Contractor/Freelance or Casual/Part-time, depending on what suits you
- Starting hours: Approximately 10 hours per week
- Content Shoots: Approximately 8 hours per month to start
- Work location: Hybrid Remote. Shoots are always in person. Other work can be done remotely for the right person.
- This role has potential to grow to part time / full-time hours
