About the role
Council is looking for a motivated individual to join our team ensuring that Council’s property portfolio is managed professionally and is utilised/occupied to its optimum capacity. In this dynamic role you will also be engaged in coordinating property related projects on Council owned or Council managed land and assisting the Manager Property Strategy and Leasing in the management of Council’s buildings and property portfolio.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in managing Council’s property lease portfolio and leasing activities, including residential properties, commercial/retail premises, footpath dining areas, special use properties, on Crown, road, operational and community land.
- Supervise Property Operations team.
- Coordinate and manage property related projects aimed at enhancing the property portfolio and ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Provide internal support and advice to the Manager, Property Strategy and Leasing and Council leaders on property related matters.
About you To be successful in this job you will have:
- Relevant Degree or Tertiary qualification (Diploma or similar), with significant experience in property related disciplines.
- Working knowledge of and extensive experience in property management and leasing practice, ideally in a local government or a corporate property management environment.
- Experience in Property Leasing, Project Management, and delivering Property related projects.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed negotiation, conflict resolution and consultative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and manage a team to agreed outcomes, budget and timeframes.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer service orientation.
- Current Driver's Licence.

We are offering remuneration from $130,153 to $149,676 annual salary plus super.
