Our campus is located on Gadigal land in central Sydney, within the historic sandstone walls of what was once the Darlinghurst Gaol and is now one of the nation’s premier art institutions where many of Australia’s leading artists having studied and taught.

The Position The Corporate Governance
Coordinator provides operational support for NAS’s corporate and organisational governance functions and, company secretary support. This role focuses on policy management, corporate compliance, risk registers, committee coordination (non-academic), and related corporate governance documentation.
This position supports the corporate and operational governance stream, ensuring NAS meets its statutory, regulatory, and organisational governance obligations. The role also contributes to aligning academic policies with operational policies where appropriate, supporting whole-of-school consistency and compliance.

Bring to The Role
You are a highly organised and proactive governance professional with exceptional attention to detail and a robust commitment to integrity, compliance and continuous improvement.
You bring experience supporting governance processes, including committee coordination, policy and procedure management, compliance monitoring and records administration. You are confident working across multiple priorities and have excellent planning and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to build effective relationships across diverse teams and provide trusted governance support.
Bringing strong digital capability and advanced Microsoft Office skills, you are comfortable managing governance systems, registers and workflows. You show initiative, sound judgement and have a problem-solving approach which helps identify risks, improve processes and ensure organisational obligations are met. An understanding of governance principles, regulatory compliance, privacy legislation, WHS, ethical practices, and ideally experience gained within the education, arts, government or not-for-profit sectors, will see you thrive in this role.
