This is a critical, high-impact role within the Governance and Corporate team that offers job variety, interesting projects, and tangible results in a small, dynamic setting.
You will play a central role in delivering comprehensive corporate, governance, and operational support. Working alongside a supportive team, this role gives you the opportunity to apply your broad corporate skillset to refine systems, manage compliance activities, operationalise strategy, and strengthen organisational maturity across several corporate functions.
We are seeking a self-driven individual who brings a great work ethic, strong initiative, and a collaborative mindset to build great working relationships and support an inclusive, positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance, Risk & Compliance: Support the implementation and tracking of corporate governance frameworks, risk management strategies, business continuity plans, and legislative compliance registers.
- Procurement & Contract Management: Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, contract documentation, service level agreements (SLAs), and updates to supplier registers.
- Business & Records Improvement: Support key improvement projects, including the operationalisation of ICT strategies, records management systems, and policy framework updates.
- WHS & Diversity: Coordinate the WHS program—including risk assessments,
incident documentation, building inspections, and committee tasks—and assist with corporate diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Corporate Administration & Team Leadership: Maintain registers, support senior leadership with corporate reporting, and provide day-to-day guidance and management to direct reporting staff.
Ideally you will possess:
- Broad operational experience in governance, corporate administration, procurement, WHS, or compliance (public sector or general corporate experience welcomed).
- A strong work ethic, high level of initiative, and an action-oriented mindset to achieve outcomes independently.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A positive, team-first attitude with a passion for contributing to continuous improvement, workplace safety, and a healthy team culture.
- Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Public Administration, Governance, or equivalent experience highly desirable.
