Company Description AACDS (Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science) is Australia’s largest and longest established vocational college dedicated solely to advanced aesthetics education, delivering nationally recognized qualifications in dermal science and cosmetic nursing since 2004. Courses are primarily delivered online, with practical training units offered in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, and Perth, and on-campus theory classes available in Perth and Gold Coast. A key feature of AACDS programs is small-group, hands-on practical training in state-of-the-art student clinic facilities, typically with a ratio of two students per trainer/assessor.

This approach provides learners with direct access to aesthetic equipment and a highly personalized training experience. Role Description The Course Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brisbane, QLD, with the ability to work partly from home. This position is responsible for guiding prospective students through course options, entry requirements, and study pathways, ensuring they understand AACDS programs and select qualifications that align with their goals. Day-to-day activities include responding to enquiries via phone, email, and online channels, conducting consultations, providing accurate information about courses, fees, and funding options, and maintaining detailed records in student management and CRM systems.

Advisor collaborates with academic and administrative teams to support smooth enrolment processes, follow up with leads, and contribute to student retention by offering ongoing course-related advice. The role also involves participating in information sessions, open days, and outreach initiatives, and providing feedback to management on prospective student needs and trends.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

- Experience in student advisory, customer service, sales, or education administration, ideally within vocational education, higher education, or healthcare-related training.

- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries, follow up leads, and maintain accurate records in CRM or student management systems.

- Competence in using office and online tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, databases, video conferencing platforms) and comfort working in a hybrid environment.

- Knowledge or solid interest in cosmetic dermal science, nursing, aesthetics, or health sciences, with the ability to learn course details and regulatory requirements (RTO and CRICOS) quickly.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team, demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a learner-focused approach.

- Relevant post-secondary qualification in education, health sciences, business, or a related field is
