This mission‑led HealthTech business is entering the next phase of its journey, shifting its focus from building a great product to scaling it, commercialising it responsibly and integrating more deeply into Australia’s evolving digital health ecosystem.
We’re looking for a hands‑on CTO who can bridge technology, product and commercial thinking. Someone who still enjoys getting close to architecture and engineering, but can also help shape strategy, guide investment decisions and influence the future direction of the platform.
This isn’t a role for someone who’s become “post‑technical”. It’s equally not a role where you’ll spend your week writing production code. It’s about knowing when to dive into the detail, when to coach,
and when to step back and provide direction.
Whether you’re an experienced CTO, Head of Engineering, perhaps even a Principal Engineer or Lead Architect ready for a step up, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while working alongside a passionate, highly capable team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the technology strategy and roadmap as the business enters its next phase of growth.
- Help evolve an established digital product into a scalable, commercially sustainable platform.
- Partner with executive leadership to shape technology investment, product direction and long‑term strategy.
- Guide software architecture and engineering quality while supporting a small internal engineering team and external delivery partners.
- Lead interoperability initiatives, including healthcare integrations, APIs and modern data standards.
