About the Role

The purpose of the role is to support all aspects of the product development process to deliver products and initiatives to market which align with the jointly agreed business priorities of our strategic partner.

- Coordinate and complete site based (and selected national), product and packaging developments within delivery lifecycle and reporting requirements.
- Actively deliver projects across the full development lifecycle,



including benchtop and commercial trials, shelf-life validation, specification development, process confirmation, customer product workshops and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate and partner with all internal and external key stakeholders/ suppliers required to support the business strategic priorities
- Work within high performing teams across manufacturing site, country wide and regional projects and process initiatives

About you

- 3-5 years’ experience within Product Development / Packaging Development / Change Delivery role/s, coordinating project deliverables, reporting and stakeholder communications
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science and/or related discipline desired, but not essential.
- Sound understanding of Australian food regulatory requirements, including FSANZ, labelling, allergen and claims compliance.
- Experience supporting product and packaging trials from concept through to launch, including factory trials, production handover and post-launch review.
- Ability to interpret product, packaging and customer specifications with strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety, HACCP, quality systems and manufacturing site requirements.
- Exposure to packaging artwork, print approvals, barcode checks and packaging specification processes.
- Commercial awareness, including an understanding of cost, yield, waste, efficiency and customer expectations.




- Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support practical, site-ready solutions.
- Ability to understand and review, regulatory product specification details
- Ability to proactively identifying support requirements and raise risks / issues early.
- Ability to work well within a team and build successful working relationships
- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite
