Springwood Family Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate RN or EEN to join their well-established and growing general practice located in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist GPs with procedures
- Minor surgery and clinical assessments
- Coordinate Chronic Disease Management (CDM)
- GP Management Plans
- Team Care Arrangements and Health Assessments
- Perform immunisations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry, ear syringing and other clinical procedures within scope of practice
- Educate patients on preventative health, chronic disease management and healthy lifestyle choices
- Maintain accurate clinical records using Best Practice software




- Participate in quality improvement activities, infection control and accreditation requirements
- Work collaboratively with doctors, reception staff and allied health professionals to provide outstanding patient care

Selection Criteria

- Current AHPRA registration as an RN or EEN
- Experience in general practice, treatment room nursing and Chronic Disease Management
- Ability to work independently and provide patient-centred care
- Experience with Best Practice Medical Software
- Current immunisation certification and qualifications in Medication Administration and IV are highly regarded
