Ipswich Powder Coating is seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our growing team.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in producing high‑quality work, enjoys working in a workshop environment, and wants to be part of a business that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

- Preparing, masking, hanging, and coating metal products
- Applying powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment
- Operating powder coating equipment and curing ovens
- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Identifying and troubleshooting coating issues
- Following job cards, work instructions, and production schedules
- Working safely and contributing to a clean and organised workshop

About You

- Experience in powder coating, surface finishing.
- Experience working in a workshop or industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety





We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in their work and has a genuine desire to learn, develop new skills, and expand their knowledge within the surface finishing industry.

Desirable Qualifications

- Certificate II or III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application, Surface Finishing, or related trade
- Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
