About the Role
Right now, we have an excellent chance for a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain Team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the baseline and promotional planning forecast inputs from the National Sales, Account and Category Management teams to develop an SKU by state split over a 24-month horizon.
You will be the first point of reference in relation to short-term demand changes and the allocation of stock in short supply and be the foundation for subsequent production, procurement and deployment plans whilst assisting in the short-term development of Supply Plans that support our commercial forecast.
You will provide analysis and reporting of results and opportunities for process improvement, leading and participating in key forums within the S&OP; cycle is also essential, as well as working with the Supply Planner in their function to meet key CFR and Inventory targets.
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded Demand Planner who is naturally curious, highly analytical and comfortable operating in an environment where priorities can change quickly. You enjoy taking ownership, challenging assumptions and using data to drive better decisions. You'll be someone who can hit the ground running, build credibility with stakeholders across the business and confidently balance customer service, inventory, supply and commercial outcomes.
With a robust continuous improvement mindset, you'll actively seek opportunities to simplify processes, improve forecasting capability and deliver practical solutions that support business performance. You'll be comfortable working in an evolving workplace where not every process or system is perfect, using your initiative and commercial judgement to drive better outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Own forecast performance for assigned categories through the analysis of forecast accuracy, bias,
forecast exceptions and key demand drivers.
Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams to develop robust demand plans, drive consensus forecasting and evaluate promotional performance through pre- and post-event analysis.
Deliver accurate demand forecasts as a key input into the Integrated Business Planning and S&OP; process, supported by documented assumptions, analysis and market intelligence.
Partner closely with Production, Deployment and Supply Planning teams to manage changes to plan, improve inventory health and support customer service objectives.
Maintain visibility of risks and opportunities throughout the planning horizon, communicating impacts and developing mitigation plans that balance customer service, inventory, supply constraints and cost outcomes.
Lead Forecast Review Meetings (FRM) and Demand Review Meetings, ensuring forecast assumptions, risks, opportunities and market intelligence are captured, communicated and escalated where required.
Perform root cause analysis on forecast variances and collaborate with Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders to drive corrective actions and lifecycle planning activities.
Develop and maintain reporting that provides visibility to forecast performance, inventory risks, service outcomes and planning assumptions, ensuring data integrity across planning systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning capabilities, improve data governance, reduce manual reporting and drive more effective business decision-making.
Skills & Experience Required
Required
- 3-5+ years' experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting or Supply Chain Planning.
- Proven experience owning demand forecasts and improving forecast accuracy through analysis and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Experience working within S&OP;, Forecast Review or Integrated Business Planning processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using planning, forecasting or ERP systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer service, inventory, supply constraints and business performance.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Naturally curious, resilient and continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
Preferred
- Experience with SAP, SAP APO, SAP S/4HANA, Prevail or similar planning systems.
- Experience building or enhancing statistical forecasting models.
- Experience with Power BI, Nielsen, Circana/IRI or other market and customer data sources.
- Experience within FMCG, manufacturing or consumer goods environments.
- Experience supporting planning transformation, system implementations or process improvement initiatives.
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
