About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Consultant to join our Customer Service Team. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for processing stock requests for aligned industry customers, providing generalised internal sales support to the business and giving technical advice via the telephone.

Additionally, a Customer Service Consultant may greet customers at Blum’s Sydney showroom and support the customer during their visit as well as support Reception when needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Answer inbound calls in a timely and professional manner and respond to caller's inquiries by utilising industry technical knowledge.
- Respond to customer emails using the CRM and ensure communication is maintained within the ticketing tool, ensuring accurate categorisation of emails and prompt response times.




- Accurate and timely processing of orders as requested by industry customers to ensure optimal customer support and seamless service delivery.
- Ensure optimal customer service standards are provided for both internal sales team and external stakeholders.
- Build effective working relationship with industry customers to actively contribute to customer discussions regarding forecasting, current stocking policies & market release strategies for new products.
- Provide generalised ordering and product information support to the aligned industry customers.
- Liaise, discuss and plan with the Logistics Team on stock management requirements for aligned industry customers.
- Assess warranty claims and follow up with appropriate support as per agreed business standards.
- When necessary, attend to customers in Blum’s showroom, greet them appropriately and support them throughout their visit.

- Previous experience/exposure to an internal sales environment particularly in relation to kitchen hardware will be highly regarded.
- Extensive technical knowledge of kitchen hardware is preferred but not essential.
