Role Description The Data Scientist role at Dynamics Lab is a part-time, remote position focused on designing and executing data-driven experiments to improve AI-native game engine performance and user experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing structured and unstructured data generated by user interactions and system behavior.

The Data

Scientist will build statistical and machine learning models, evaluate their performance, and translate insights into transparent recommendations for product and research teams. The role also involves creating dashboards and visualizations, collaborating with engineers and researchers on metrics and evaluation frameworks, and documenting methodologies and findings for internal stakeholders. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI applications in gaming and interactive media.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Science and Data Analysis, including model development, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.





Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Statistics and Data Analytics to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.

Candidates should possess proficiency in Data Visualization to build clear, informative dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.

Hands-on experience with Python or similar programming languages, and common data science tools (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Jupyter).

Familiarity with machine learning techniques, model evaluation, and working with large-scale or real-time data is highly beneficial.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Interest in AI, gaming, interactive simulations, and applied research at the frontier of technology.
