Due to internal promotion, they are now seeking a Menswear Buyer to join their team.

Reporting to the Head of Merchandise, you will select product ranges that reflect key trends considering consumer market dynamics, cultural influences, competitors and marketplace intelligence. Your ability to understand the customer demographic and consumer behaviour will guarantee you remain ahead of market conditions and ensure you are able to select and build a range that will achieve budgeted financial results.With solid commercial and analytical capabilities, you are able to implement a merchandise strategy for both company owned retail stores and large wholesale customers that each have a point of difference across these various channels.

As a results-oriented individual, you will have excellent analytical skills,



understand assortment planning, product development and costing of goods/samples. Coupled with this you will react quickly to market pressures and will have strong interpersonal and influencing skills. You are a team player and enjoy working collaboratively with others. You will come from a men’s or women’s fashion buying/category management background, and this could be from retail, wholesale or a pure play business, ideally you will have worked in youth fashion.
