About the role

We are currently looking for a motivated Health Information Clerk to join our busy team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside on a casual basis. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented clerk who can provide timely administrative support while ensuring compliance, privacy, and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing, retrieving, and archiving patient medical records
- Scanning, uploading, and maintaining patient medical records
- Supporting clinicians throughout the hospital with timely access to medical records
- Undertaking general administrative duties with the Health Informatics department

Qualifications and experience

- Previous experience in medical records, health information services or healthcare administration
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in perioperative or acute care (desirable but not essential)
- High level of computer literacy (electronic medical record systems advantageous)
