Co-Conspirators Brewing Company is looking for a hands-on Bar Team Leader to help lead day-to-day brewpub operations, support our casual bar team, manage stock and keep service running smoothly.

- Join an independent Brunswick brewery and brewpub. Work with a growing local beer business celebrating 10 years.
- Hands-on leadership role with variety. Bar service, stock, events, beer releases, team communication and brewery support.

Co-Conspirators Brewing Company is looking for a Part-Time Bar Team Leader to join our Brunswick brewpub team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong hospitality experience, excellent communication skills and an interest in craft beer. You'll be involved in the day-to-day running of the bar, leading casual staff during shifts, maintaining service standards, supporting events, managing stock and helping keep the venue organised and ready for trade.

We're an independent brewery and brewpub based in Brunswick, with a busy taproom, rotating beer releases, community events, functions, trivia, comedy, drag bingo and seasonal beer launches. Our hospitality side is growing, and we're looking for someone who can take ownership of the daily bar operations while working closely with the Directors and brewery team.

About the role

The Bar Team Leader will help manage the smooth operation of the brewpub, including:

- leading bar service during rostered shifts
- supporting and directing casual bar staff




- opening and closing the venue
- maintaining bar cleanliness, presentation and service standards
- communicating daily priorities to the team
- managing stock levels, ordering notes, deliveries and rotation
- assisting with stocktake, par levels and invoice checks
- keeping tap lists, POS and online menus accurate
- supporting events, functions and beer releases
- helping staff build confidence with beer knowledge and customer service
- assisting with brewery support tasks where required, such as stock movement, packaging or keg washing

About the Candidate

You'll be a good fit if you:

- have at least 4 years' hospitality experience
- have experience leading staff or running shifts
- are confident working nights and weekends
- enjoy customer service and creating a welcoming venue
- are organised, reliable and hands-on
- are comfortable with stock, ordering, checklists and systems
- can communicate clearly with staff and managers
- are interested in craft beer and keen to learn our range
- are comfortable working in a small independent business where everyone gets involved

Craft beer, brewery or taproom experience is highly regarded. Experience with POS systems, stocktake, events or ordering is also a bonus.

A current RSA is required. A driver's licence is desirable.

Hours and pay

This is a part-time role with a minimum of 25 hours per week.

The role will include nights and weekends, with a regular roster primarily across Thursday to Monday, depending on events and business needs.
