The Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and motivated Football Development Coach to join our growing Brisbane coaching team.

This position will commence on a casual basis, providing both you and High Performance the prospect to ensure it's the right fit. Following a successful probationary period, the successful applicant will have a clear pathway to full-time employment from January 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality football coaching sessions focusing on the technical, tactical, physical and psychological development of outfield players.
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions for players of all ages and abilities.
- Analyse player performances and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with player development and mentorship programs.
- Build strong relationships with players, parents, schools and partner clubs.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches to maintain High Performance's coaching standards.
- Stay up to date with modern coaching methodologies and continually develop your own coaching knowledge.
- Represent High Performance professionally both on and off the field.

Coaching Opportunities

The successful applicant may be involved in delivering:

- Club academy programs
- School senior and junior football programs
- Private one-to-one coaching
- Small group development sessions
- Holiday clinics
- AFC/FA B Licence, UEFA C Licence or equivalent coaching qualification
- Previous football coaching experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Availability to coach evenings and weekends
- UEFA B Licence or higher
- Experience coaching within academy or NPL environments
- Professional or semi-professional playing background
- Experience working within player development pathways
