EMBARK NOWon a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker in our Accommodation SIL Houses service across the Hunter/Newcastle Region and experience the satisfaction of supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment.
The Role:
Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. We currently have roster opportunities in our SIL house in Stockton. The majority of these shifts are shorter morning shifts or awake-overnight hours. Priority will be given to candidates have availability for those hours.
Day-to-day may include:
- Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes,
medication, and daily routines
- Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
- Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
- Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
- Building positive relationships with our clients
What You'll Bring:
We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities. You'll bring:
- A can-do attitude and growth mindset — you’re open to learning and ready to make a difference
- Qualified Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your passion & enthusiasm is key!
