About the role

Kenilworth Dairies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatch Operator. This role is Monday to Friday and is based in Kenilworth QLD 4574. As Dispatch Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of products through our warehouse and distribution network. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing logistics schedules, and maintaining accurate records to support our operational excellence and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key responsibilities

- Load and unload shipments with a forklift, and move stock and packaging materials around the factory site

- Prepare shipping documents, manifests and delivery notes with precision and accuracy

- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery requirements and schedules

- Verify product quantities and conditions before dispatch to ensure orders are complete and correct

- Coordinate with warehouse teams to prioritise loading sequences and optimise vehicle space utilisation

- Resolve delivery issues and discrepancies, escalating concerns as needed to management

- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in all dispatch operations

- Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

What we're looking for

- A valid forklift licence (and MR licence would be advantageous)

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders

- Meticulous attention to detail with accuracy in documentation

- Physical capability to perform the demands of the role,



including standing for extended periods and manual handling where required
- A commitment to health and safety compliance and best practice standards

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and professional demeanour

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
