Part time - Early Childhood Teacher 12-month contract

We are seeking a qualified ECT to join our warm and inclusive team, dedicated to providing high-quality education and care in a safe, supportive environment.

Cuddlepie is a long-day care located in Wingham, proudly providing a play-based curriculum that values children’s voices, curiosity, and individuality. Our service is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS), with robust partnerships with families and our local community. We cater to 47 children per day, serving children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, and offer a preschool program for children transitioning to mainstream schooling.

We have been operating as a not-for-profit service in the local community for more than 40 years.

About the Role

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will:

- Develop and implement engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS.

- Create a warm, respectful, and protected learning workplace that supports each child’s well-being, development, and sense of belonging.

- Collaborate with families and educators to build strong partnerships that reflect each child’s unique needs and strengths.

- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and reflective practice within the service.

- Uphold all child safety, ethical,



and legislative obligations under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Child Safe Standards.

Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.

- Current NSW Working With Children Check.

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.

- Sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and National Regulations.

- Demonstrated commitment to child safety, well-being, and inclusive practice.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
