Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training) About The Role We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help shape how AI understands and reasons through complex engineering problems. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and your domain expertise will directly influence how the next generation of AI models thinks about circuits, systems, and signals. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed to fit around your existing schedule.
Whether you're a graduate student, academic, or working professional, you can contribute on your own terms.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced electrical engineering problems spanning circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, and control systems to rigorously test AI performance
Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation
Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.)
Improve AI Reasoning — Identify flaws in AI logic, flag failure modes,
and provide structured feedback that directly improves how models approach engineering problems
Work Independently — Complete task-based assignments asynchronously, on your own schedule Who You Are Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
