2. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Stores & Laser Materials Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating a broad range of laser cutting and fabrication materials, ensuring accurate stock control, timely supply to production and dispatch in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in supporting smooth production flow by ensuring materials are available when needed and properly managed through stores and inventory systems.

3. Key Responsibilities

- Manage inventory of laser cutting and fabrication materials
- Receive, store, and issue materials for production use




- Coordinate timely supply of materials to laser cutting and manufacturing operations
- Maintain accurate stock records, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations
- Monitor material usage, scrap, and returns
- Support job kitting and preparation of materials for production schedules
- Ensure efficient material flow between stores and production areas
- Maintain safe work practices when handling materials
- Coordinate packing, freight and dispatching of completed products.

4. What We are Looking For

- Experience in stores, dispatch, warehousing, inventory control, or materials coordination in a manufacturing environment
- Experience and knowledge of a broad range of laser cutting and fabrication materials is essential
- Solid understanding of stock control processes (receiving, issuing, cycle counts, reconciliation, dispatch)
- Ability to manage material flow to meet production demands
- High attention to detail and accuracy with record keeping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Current forklift licence
