Role Description The Electrician role at JSG Electrical is a full-time, on-site position based in Sydney, NSW. The role involves installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems, with a focus on main switchboards, embedded networks, consumer mains, and metering panels in commercial and retail environments. Day-to-day tasks include conducting electrical MSB installations, troubleshooting faults, performing repairs, and ensuring work is completed safely on live sites with minimal impact on building operations.

The Electrician will also support commercial fit-outs, lighting upgrades, data and fibre installations,



and EV charging infrastructure, while adhering to all relevant standards, regulations, and company procedures. Collaboration with project managers, other electricians, and site stakeholders is required to deliver projects on time and to a high quality standard. Qualifications

Solid knowledge of electricity principles and safe electrical practices, including relevant standards and regulations.

Demonstrated experience in electrical work for commercial and retail sites, including installation and replacement of switchboards and related infrastructure.

Skills in maintenance and repair of electrical systems, with a focus on reliability and preventative servicing.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues, fault finding on live sites, and resolving problems efficiently.

Background in electrical engineering concepts as applied to switchroom infrastructure and embedded networks.

Valid Electrical Trade qualification and current Electrical Contractor or Electrician licence in NSW.

Ability to work safely on live sites, follow WHS requirements, and use appropriate PPE and tools.

Strong communication skills, ability to work within a team, and interact professionally with clients and site stakeholders.

Experience with commercial fit-outs, lighting systems, data and fibre, and EV charging installations is highly regarded.

Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites across Sydney and regional NSW as required.
