We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance Team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Role

As an Electrician within the Coal and Ash Plant Maintenance Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of plant equipment. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, fault-finding, testing and commissioning a range of electrical systems and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspections and testing of plant equipment

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime

Install, maintain, modify and commission electrical plant and equipment





Follow maintenance procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work orders

Carry out minor plant isolations and operational activities as required

Contribute to process and system improvement initiatives

Prepare and participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)

Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

Electrical Trade Qualification

Current Electrical A Grade Licence

High Voltage Safe Work Practices Certificate and/or High Voltage Switching Certification

Current Driver's Licence

Solid commitment to safe work practices

Experience in heavy industrial, mining, power generation or manufacturing environments will be highly regarded
