This is a permanent, full-time position at Leonora Operations on 8 days on, 6 days off roster.Reporting to the Health and Safety Superintendent, you will ensure emergency management systems are implemented and maintained while providing expert emergency management advice and support to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel at the Operations.The Prospect:Conduct risk assessments to identify potential emergency scenarios and develop mitigation strategies.Develop, implement, and regularly update emergency response plans,



procedures and supporting documents as part of the Mine Safety Management System (MSMS).Maintain and ensure readiness of emergency response equipment, appliances and facilities.Conduct inspections and audits of emergency response equipment and processes, ensuring equipment registers are up to date at all times.Ensure the Emergency Response Team (ERT) maintains an adequate number of members with on call capacity to meet operational requirements.Lead and coordinate the ERT, ensuring high levels of preparedness, performance and capability through promotion, training and development.Provide coaching and support to the ERT to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a high-performing and disciplined team.Maintain operational emergency response systems including, but not limited to fire systems, lightning warning systems and alert/ evacuation systems.Follow escalation processes and coordinate first response for emergency events.Schedule and coordinate drills and simulations to test response capabilities an
