Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Device Management (MDM) Lead with strong expertise in SOTI MobiControl and VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE to lead and support our enterprise mobility services. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands-on operational support , ensuring the secure, efficient, and seamless delivery of mobile device management services across the organization.

As the MDM Lead, you will be responsible for the overall governance, administration, and continuous improvement of the mobile device ecosystem while providing technical guidance and escalation support to the support team members. You will lead a team of mobility specialists, mentor team members, drive operational excellence and act as an escalation point for complex MDM issues. The role requires a robust balance of strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to ensure high service quality, compliance, and user satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

MDM Platform Management

- Configure, deploy, and manage mobile devices through SOTI MobiControl and VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE.
- Define and maintain device profiles, security policies, and compliance rules to ensure adherence to corporate standards.
- Optimize MDM workflows for device enrollment, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management.

Security & Compliance

- Implement and enforce security policies, including encryption, passcode enforcement, remote wipe, and data loss prevention.
- Monitor compliance dashboards and address non-compliant devices swiftly to reduce security risks.
- Collaborate with IT security to implement and refine mobile device security strategies in alignment with organizational policies.





Application Deployment & Management

- Package and deploy mobile applications to user devices, ensuring proper licensing, configuration, and updates.
- Provide guidance to business units on application requirements and integrations for mobile workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application installation and performance issues.

User Support & Experience

- Act as a primary escalation point for complex mobile device issues, providing technical guidance and support.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, guides, and self-service documentation to improve user adoption and satisfaction.
- Provide VIP and executive-level support for critical mobile device needs, ensuring a white-glove experience.

Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records of mobile devices, including ownership, status, and lifecycle milestones.
- Conduct periodic audits of mobile devices to ensure data integrity and asset accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to support budgeting and forecasting for mobile device needs.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, help desk, and security teams to ensure a holistic approach to mobile device management.
- Analyze trends and usage data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved user experience.
- Research and evaluate new MDM features, mobile technologies, and best practices to keep the environment modern and secure.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

- 8-10 years of experience managing and supporting mobile devices in a medium-to-large enterprise setting.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing SOTI MobiControl and VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE.
- Strong understanding of iOS, Android, and Windows mobile ecosystems, including security and application management.
- Experience with device lifecycle management: procurement, enrollment, support, and decommissioning.
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools, inventory tracking, and MDM reporting features.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.




- Solid understanding of mobile device security, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications in mobile device management (e.g., SOTI, AirWatch/Workspace ONE), ITIL Foundation, or security (e.g., CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Familiarity with rugged device environments (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell) for field operations.
- Experience supporting devices in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, or retail) with strict compliance needs (HIPAA, PCI DSS, GD
