Role Description This full-time remote Entry Level Software Developer / Junior Developer / Software Developer role focuses on designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications under the guidance of senior developers. A typical day includes implementing features, fixing bugs, reviewing code, and participating in stand-ups or team meetings to discuss progress and technical challenges. The developer will collaborate with peers to understand requirements, write clean and efficient code, and contribute to documentation and basic technical specifications.
The role also involves learning new tools and frameworks, following best practices, and supporting improvements to existing systems and development processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Practical skills in Software Development and Programming,
with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in building maintainable code.
Ability to debug issues, write unit tests, and follow version control practices (e.g., Git).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Effective communication skills, willingness to ask questions, and openness to feedback in a remote team environment.
Motivation to learn recent technologies, follow industry best practices, and grow into more advanced development responsibilities.
