About the Business The Pathways, Evidence and Partnerships Directorate provides statewide oversight of referral pathways, data, evidence and commissioned service partnerships across the Child and Family Support System. We ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time through referral systems, strong sector relationships and high-quality evidence, as well as generating research and insights to inform policy, strengthen practice and drive continuous improvement.
Role Details
Seeking expressions of interest to act in the role of Supervisor (AHP3) for CFSS Pathways Team B, from Monday 24th August to Friday the 23rd October 2026. Overview of Duties (role description attached) The Supervisor, CFSS Pathways is a role within Pathways, Evidence and Partnerships (PEP) and is accountable to the Manager for:
- managing, leading and guiding CFSS Pathways Team A in the delivery of high quality and effective services and interventions to respond to, and support vulnerable and at-risk children and their families
- working strategically and systematically across government and the non-government sector, including community,
in strengthening the service system responding to mitigate and reduce trauma and harm to, at-risk children, in order to reduce the need for a statutory child protection response
- providing high-quality leadership, that inspires and motivates others to work collaboratively in a timely way, responding to the community and business needs
- adhering to and promoting safety and wellbeing of staff and creating workplaces that are inclusive and protected in adherence to legislative requirements.
The role is varied, and operationally the Supervisor will:
- support staff through the provision of Supervision, practice reflection and quality assurance
- manage the flow of work through triage and assessment processes
- liaise with key stakeholders within IFS and referring partners
- provide clinical consultation and negotiate service responses with DCP as required
- contribute to the Safety & Pathways Leadership team collaboration.

Screening Checks
