Summary of the Role
As a Women's Health & Performance Physiotherapist, you'll manage a diverse caseload of pelvic health and musculoskeletal conditions while helping active women confidently return to the activities they love.
This role offers structured mentoring, professional development, and opportunities to contribute to workshops, community education, and the continued growth of Active Pelvic Health.
You’ll play an key role in delivering exceptional client‑centred care while helping shape the future of our growing practice.

Responsibilities
- Assess and manage a broad range of pelvic health and musculoskeletal conditions using evidence-based practice.
- Develop individualised rehabilitation programs for pregnancy, postpartum, return-to-exercise, sporting and active populations.
- Deliver comprehensive pelvic health assessments, including internal examinations where appropriate.
- Integrate movement analysis, strength and exercise prescription into rehabilitation programs.
- Collaborate with GPs, specialists, fitness professionals, and other healthcare providers to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with referrers.
- Participate in mentoring, in‑service education, and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to workshops, community education events, and initiatives that promote women's health.
- Support the continued growth and innovation of Active Pelvic Health.
Qualifications & Experience
We're looking for a physiotherapist who:
- Has a minimum of 3 years' experience in private practice .
- Has at least 1 year of experience in Women's and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy .
- Holds current AHPRA registration .
- Has completed WHTA Level 1 and is progressing through Level 2 training (or equivalent).
- Has a strong musculoskeletal physiotherapy background and confidence managing sports and exercise-related injuries.
- Has a genuine passion for Women's and Pelvic Health and is motivated to continue developing advanced pelvic health skills.
- Enjoys working with active women, recreational athletes, pregnancy, postpartum and return-to-exercise populations.
- Values collaborative, evidence-based, and client-centred care.
- Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to lifelong learning.
Bonus Points If You
- Are enrolled in or have completed a Graduate Certificate or Master's in Pelvic Health.
- Have experience teaching Clinical or Studio Pilates.
- Enjoy community education and building relationships with healthcare and fitness professionals.
- Bring creativity, initiative, and an open-minded approach to clinical practice.
