City of Sydney is seeking up to 2 Events Interns for the Major Events and Festivals team. This entry-level internship offers hands-on experience in planning and delivering iconic events such as Sydney Christmas and Sydney Recent Year’s Eve.

The internship runs from Monday 19 October 2026 until Friday 8 January 2027, with work up to Christmas Eve and some days between 27 December and 1 January. Start dates and arrangements will be discussed during selection.
