Shift Structure & Pay
- $77.76 per hour flat rate + super
- Approx. $170,000 + super per year
- 4 days on / 4 days off / 4 nights on / 4 days off
- 12-hour shifts – 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am
- Paid at the same flat hourly rate which incorporates overtime, shift loadings, weekend and public holiday penalties
The Role
You'll be responsible for maintaining, fault finding and installing sophisticated automated material handling and robotic systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Electrical fault finding across automated and PLC-controlled systems (Siemens)
- Working with sensors including photoelectric, proximity and encoders
- Fault finding on motors, VSDs and electrical drive systems
- Diagnosing faults via PLC interfaces and control systems
- Working on control panels, relays and safety circuits
- Maintaining conveyor and sortation system controls
- Breakdown response, preventative maintenance and electrical upgrades
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of new automated systems and equipment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Trade qualified Electrician (Certificate III Electrotechnology)
- Experience within industrial automation or automated manufacturing environments
- PLC fault-finding experience
