The Opportunity

AHT Group is a South Australian electrical, communications, nurse call, and security services company with a strong reputation across health, aged care, and commercial environments. AHT has built long-term client relationships over the years, delivering complex integrated systems work that keeps critical facilities running.

AHT Group is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its estimating team, working alongside the current team to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates across a wide range of disciplines, from preconstruction through to award.

The Role

As Estimator, you will be responsible for producing detailed, accurate estimates for electrical systems and integrated services, working closely with the existing estimating team, internal stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing detailed estimates for electrical systems and integrated services including security, data/communications, and nurse call
- Performing material and labour takeoffs across systems including electrical power and lighting, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, structured cabling and data/voice networks, intercom, and paging
- Scoping and providing quotations for major projects and tenders as directed by Site Managers
- Attending tender walkthroughs and client consultations as required




- Supporting negotiations and project handover activities
- Communicating with stakeholders to clarify scope, schedule, and cost assumptions
- Providing constructive feedback on current work processes

The Right Fit

You'll have solid experience estimating within the electrical and communications industry, and enjoy collaborating closely with an established, experienced team.

You will bring

- 3–5 years' experience in estimating, including a variety of quotes and tenders
- Ability to interpret drawings and schematics
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with simPRO, Bluebeam, or Groundplan highly regarded
