Your new company A growing and highly regarded civil construction business is seeking an Estimator / Project Support professional to join its expanding team in North Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and successful organisation delivering projects for major contractors and developers across South East Queensland. Your new role

Working closely with the Project Manager, Coordinators and Estimating team, you will play a key role in supporting tender submissions, project planning and cost estimation activities. This is a varied position that would suit an Estimator or with developing drafting skills who are working within the construction industry looking to develop their career as a growing civil contractor.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare estimates and quotations from drawings, plans and specifications.
- Review project documentation and assist with tender submissions.
- Conduct take-offs and calculate labour, material and equipment requirements.
- Analyse drawings and identify project risks and opportunities.
- Assist with pricing variations and design changes.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Support project delivery teams with planning and administrative functions.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and completed to a high standard

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally,



you will have:

- Experience of 1-2 years estimating experience, ideally within the construction industry
- Developing project coordination, contract administration, drafting skills or the ability to.
- The ability to read and interpret construction, engineering or civil drawings.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit or similar software will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
