The Event Mill and Reeces Hire are seeking General Event Crew to join our busy team!

The Event Mill is a full-service event management and hire company based in Perth. Its sister company, Reeces Hire, is the largest marquee firm in the state. Our team is enthusiastic, innovative, and social, priding ourselves on delivering exceptional event experiences and providing a supportive working environment.

An exciting opportunity exists for hard-working and reliable event crew to join our team in a casual role. One day you could be helping to install furniture at a concert and the next you could be building a marquee at one of Perth's most prestigious events! Experience in the industry is great; however, a good can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and common sense is more important!

We’re also on the look out for individuals who thrive in leadership roles and enjoy guiding efficient, professional teams. We’re seeking candidates who can motivate others, uphold high standards on-site, and help drive smooth, well-coordinated installs and removals.

Responsibilities include:

- Staging and decorating event sites and venues

- Building Marquees and tents

- Assisting with the bump in and out of events

- Working as part of a team

- Following instructions from senior staff and management

- Lifting and moving furniture and other hire items

- Working efficiently in a quick-paced environment

- Maintaining a safe workplace

- General warehouse duties

- Having a can-do attitude and high attention to detail

- Driving high performance and encouraging a motivated, cohesive team

Essential Criteria:

- Current Drivers Licence

- Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain prior to commencing work)

Desirable Criteria:

- Forklift Ticket

- White Card (For Marquee Building)

- MR/HR Drivers Licence

- Previous event setup experience

- Experience setting up Marquees and/or Stretch Tents

- Customer service experience

- Working at Heights or similar industry relevant tickets

- Woodwork and/or Metalwork experience
