Role Description The successful candidate will be a qualified and appropriately accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a casual basis. The candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgement, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to person-centred care. They must be able to work independently and collaboratively, deliver safe and evidence-based exercise interventions, maintain accurate and professional documentation, and support participants to achieve meaningful health, functional and independence outcomes.

Qualifications & Professional Registration

· Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or a recognised equivalent qualification.

· Current Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)

· Current ESSA registration and compliance with relevant professional standards and continuing professional development requirements.

Clinical Experience & Skills

· Demonstrated experience in assessment, exercise prescription,



program development and clinical review.

· Experience working with people with disability and/or complex support needs, particularly within the NDIS environment, is highly desirable

· Strong clinical reasoning, risk assessment and evidence-based exercise programming skills.

· Ability to independently manage a caseload and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

NDIS & Mandatory Screening

· Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one before commencing.

· Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, or willingness to complete it.

· Current Working With Children Check where applicable, or willingness to obtain one.

· Current National Police Check where required, or willingness to obtain one.

· Understanding of NDIS participant rights, choice and control, privacy, dignity, safeguarding and incident-reporting obligations.

Professional Insurance & Driver Requirements

· Current professional indemnity insurance, public liability insurance or willingness to obtain appropriate cover.

· Current Australian driver’s licence.

· Access to a reliable and appropriately insured vehicle for community-based service delivery, where required.





· Willingness and ability to travel to participant homes, community settings and other service locations as required.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate effectively with participants, families, support workers and other professionals.

· Confidence communicating with multidisciplinary teams, referrers and support coordinators.

· Friendly, engaging, respectful and person-centred approach.

· Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality.
