The position is full time and based in the Mandurah office. Some early morning, evening and regional travel will be required to attend events and engage with members and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

The Executive Officer will be responsible for:

leading the implementation of the organisation's strategic plan;

developing and delivering annual operational plans, budgets and performance measures;

strengthening member engagement, retention and value;





growing and diversifying membership, sponsorship and partnership revenue;

building relationships with businesses, government representatives, industry bodies and community stakeholders;

positioning the organisation as a credible and influential voice for the regional business community;

overseeing a program of purposeful, relevant and financially sustainable events and member initiatives;

leading, supporting and developing a small multidisciplinary team;

maintaining oversight of financial performance, budgets, cash flow and organisational sustainability;

improving systems, processes, technology and operational efficiency;

providing clear, timely and strategic reporting to the Board; and ensuring appropriate governance, risk management and compliance.
